Cullender’s Delicatessen’s & Kitchen

Marc and Joelle Cullender gave up their London commute and advertising life to fulfil their dream of running their own restaurant: a delicatessen/café by day, and a wine bar by night.

The interior designers’ ambition was to create a flexible and welcoming interior – ‘One that transforms effortlessly from the morning hustle and bustle of a general store to a relaxed space for afternoon tea or lively evening drinks’. They intended that ‘Visitors are greeted by a light-filled space, where warm timber floors combine with shelves and panelling in shades of slate green and grey, to create a strong backdrop for the products’.

Cullender’s have been finalist in the Surrey Life Food & Drink Awards in both 2014 and 2015.
