Hackney Town Hall

Hawkins\Brown worked closely with Hackney Council to carry out essential maintenance work and the restoration of many of the building’s original features, in order to upgrade key public areas like the assembly room and bar shown.

Standing in the town hall’s bar is reminiscent of visiting a luxurious 1930s’ hotel. The bar’s marble is stunning both in day and evening light – even more so when the backlighting illuminates its natural grain.
