Theatre Land series

Theatre-land captures they interior landscapes within London theatres. Each photograph is captured from the stage, looking towards the auditorium devoid of people. Siobhán’s intention is to capture the interior from an actor’s perspective; that moment when the iron or safety curtain is raised and the audience wait in anticipation – a perspective both daunting and exhilarating.

As a series, one can begin to study and compare these interiors – noting their individual characters, similarities, their distinctiveness and quirkiness, their beauty… The series is a work in progress.
